naraa is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over. This policy explains why, how we ask for your age and what we do if we receive indications that a user is a minor.
1. Minimum age of 18
Only people aged at least 18 may use the app. This also applies to the waitlist on our website. All personas are adults (aged at least 18) and are checked by the naraa team.
2. Why naraa is 18+
- Conversations with personas can be personal, emotional and romantic.
- Personas remember earlier conversations, and a close bond can develop.
- The app offers voice calls as well as AI-generated images and videos.
naraa does not generate pornographic content, nudity or descriptions of explicit sexual acts. Nevertheless, the content is intended for adults only.
3. How we ask for your age
When you register, you enter your date of birth. If it is under 18, registration is not possible. We store your date of birth to enforce the age limit. False information violates our Terms of Service.
4. Indications that a user is a minor
If there are indications that a user is a minor, for example through a report or information in a conversation, our team reviews the case and suspends the account.

6. Age ratings in the app stores
We rate naraa for adults in the app stores: 18+ in the Apple App Store and the highest available age rating on Google Play.
7. Country-specific requirements
Some countries may legally require more extensive age verification procedures. If this applies to naraa, we will introduce them and provide information here. We will only process as much data as necessary: we do not store copies of ID documents or raw biometric data, only the result of the check.
8. Notice for the USA
AI companion chatbots may not be suitable for some minors. naraa is only for people aged 18 and over.
9. Information for parents
If you suspect that your child is using naraa, write to us at contact@naraa.ai. We will review the information and suspend the account if necessary. You can also use the parental controls of iOS (Screen Time) and Android (Family Link) to restrict access to apps rated 18+.
